80s Games

Party Game 80s Games List

Ever played the 80s games on this list? I have and they're all fun. They will make a good 80s games too for a retro party!

My favorites would have to be Hangman, Pacman, Cintipede, Asteroids and Simon!

I would sit in the living room floor and play, popular 80s games like "Simon", alone, for hours. There was something about trying to beat Simon at his own game.

My brother and I had an Atari system, yes I am old. But you have to admit that Atari was the bomb-diggity of all 80s games! Back then, it wasn't a party game but it could be today. We thought we were the bomb because we had an Atari and other kids wanted to come over and play.

Pacman was my mom's favorite. Anything that involved blowing up things, was my brother's.

Ahh. The good old days.

TOP 80S GAMES LIST:

  • Hangman: One of the earliest word games. You had to guess the word one letter at a time before your stick man was hanged.
  • Centipede: You were battling against a killer centipede. You had to destroy all its body parts before any of them destroyed you.
  • Pacman: Who can forget that beautiful round yellow creature with one eye and and a triangular-shaped mouth?
  • Missle Command: More shooting them before they shot you.
  • Q-bert: 1982 archade game in which the animated Q-bert was the good guy.
  • Frogger: Frogger was really fun. You had to safely get your frog across the road in traffic, across the river, etc.
  • Space Invaders: I think this game started a little before the 80s but was still popular into the 80s. You were battling Space Aliens!
  • Moon Patrol: You were a police officer, driving a moon buggy, on the moon's surface.

  • Star Castle: You controlled the spaceship that was trying to destroy the enemies rotating cannon.
  • Asteroids: Another space game. You had to destroy them before they hit. The astroids would progressively fall faster and more furious.
  • Tetris: A puzzle video game where the blocks would fall and you had to move and rotate them so they would fall without spaces.
  • Simon: Simon was round with big red, blue, green, and yellow squares. It was sort of an electronic game of memory. I loved it.
