Music Party

When you're looking for music cds or albums for your party, there seems to be more music choices than you can handle.

But you have to persevere. Music is a very important part of the party. Remember when you're planning a party the three most important elements are good party food, fun party games and great PARTY MUSIC! People love to dance, including folks who can’t, shouldn’t and mustn’t ever dance—still love to dance.

If you're a mix master you may opt to find and kid music.

And even children's music is broken into various categories like todlers, preschool, teens, and christian or bible songs.

Your choice for adult music themes will vary depending on the age-group, theme, and lifestyle choices of the guests.

Some of the most popular themes are 50s, 70s, 80s, Jazz, Disco and Country.

Whatever your audience or theme, there's plenty of music to choose from.

I type my theme or key word into the search engine and a gazillion (is that a word) topics pop up.

Hip Hop Music tunes are very popular. Hip Hop is perfect for fast-paced, barbecues, and pool parties and any event featuring the young and young at heart.

70s Music myself. I know I’m dating myself here but I love the Isley Brothers.

Bar-b-ques and cookouts weren't complete without 70s tunes to make you sway and glide.

80s Music on the other hand is upbeat and bold.

I can't help but bob my head, Cindy Lauper style:}whenever I hear it. Ahhh...Cindy. She was one of my favorite 80's artist.

Ooh,and Robert Palmer, the guy who sang…

”Might as well face it, you’re addicted to love. The lights are on, but you’re not home… your mind, is not your own…”

or something like that. I loved that video!!! Okay…sorry, I had a flash back.

"We all love to dance..."

Dance Videos

Another option for fulfilling your groove needs is dance music- party video You’ll have great tunes and good entertainment all in one (two birds with one stone, if you will).

A video would work well for a bachelorette party and definitely a dance party.

As a bonus, seeing the video might help the rhythm-challenged to stay on beat.

Don't Rule out Gospel Music

I would be doing you a great dis-service if I did not suggest Christian and Gospel Party Music as an alternative as well.

If you want your party to have a Gospel flavor with a Hip-Hop Stomp, Kirk Franklin is the man!

There is a new era of Holy Hip Hop. While us older folks may see it as controversial, it is certainly capturing the attention of our young people.

A Holy Hip Hop Music Party may be my next project for my teen. Leave Music Party Visit Home Page
