Family Movie Night Is Fun and Cheap

For us, growing up, family movie night was Sunday evenings.

Mom was a member of one of those video clubs, so we got movies every month.

VHS movies, I might add, and my dad still has an eight-foot shelf full of them!

Mom's favorites were always horror films. To this day, horror films give me the willies (shiver).

We had every thing from Alfred Hitchcock to Wes Craven. I loved drama and love stories. Alas, I am a romantic.

My brother and dad, true to their testosterone levels, were more into action movies and shoot-em up flicks.

The four younger girls watched whatever we wanted. Sometimes they screamed for a Disney movie, but mostly we got to choose...well, mom got to choose :}
