And as the man or woman of the hour opens their gifts, have the guest mark off the items.

For example, for a baby shower, your guest would fill in the blanks with baby gift items. Some examples of gifts you might write on a blank card would be:

• baby socks
• blanket
• diapers
• booties
• bottles

Your guest can write down whatever they like. As with regular bingo, the first person who marks five gifts across, diagonal, or vertical, wins.

Whoever gets five in a row diagonally, horizontally, or vertically, and calls out "Gift Bingo" wins. Download free bingo party game card here.

DURING THE PARTY: Have the guest fill in their bingo cards with first and last names of the people in the room. Call off the names from your guest list.

ITEMS BINGO Have everyone fill in the squares with common items. Follow the same party game process of calling out the names of items until someone bingos.
