Christmas Ornament Craft

Looking for a fun kid holiday craft idea. My nieces and nephews love the homemade Christmas ornaments.

The ornaments look really, really cute on the tree!

Kid Crafts are fun and even better, can keep your kids busy for hours. My sister did this christmas craft below with great results.

What you will need:

• 3/4 cup of applesause

• 1 cup of cinnamon

• Mixing Bowl

• Large Spoon

• Cookie cutters (optional)

• Glitter paint

• Cookie Sheet

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 125 degrees.

Mix 3/4 cup of Applesauce into a large bowl. Stir in 1 cup of cinnamon. Continue to stir, until mixture turns into a paste. Flatten or roll out the past (or clay-like) mixture on a smooth surface about 1/2 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes. Place shapes on cookie sheet for baking. Bake for 2 hours at 125 degrees, or until hardened. Allow ornaments to cool before handling or painting.
