How To "Safely" Play the Pinata Party Game

How to play the Pinata Game

What you will need:

• Rope
• A place to hang the pinata
• Candy and/or toy stuffers
• A stick
• Blindfolds

Before the game, fill the pinata with candy or other treats of your choice. How to play:

1. Organize the kids in a line, from the smallest child to the tallest.

2. The first child in line is blindfolded and spun around a few times.

3. Give the child the pinata stick and instruct them to swing and try to hit the pinata.

SAFETY TIP: While a child is hitting the pinata during all other children must be kept back to avoid them being hit. If the swinger breaks open the pinata, be sure the swinger has stopped before the children run forward to get the candy.

4. Move the pinata up and down while the child is swinging. Have party guests cheer the children on as they swing.

ANOTHER TIP: The pinata can also be used as a centerpiece decoration in the beginning of the party.
