How To Rent Party Tent

Rent Party Tent, Gazebo Canopies and Shelters

For your next outside party rent tent shelters. The company will set up the tent and take it down after the party is over.

These same vendors often have party supply catalogs and even allow you to rent table, chairs, and any thing else you can think of.

Party tents are also known as "marquees". These large tents can be used for weddings, family gatherings, parties etc. They are made from tough vinyl.

Purchasing the tents can be quite expensive and costly to set up. It's far less trouble to rent tents. Another option is to purchse the tents but have them installed and maintained by professionals. Tent sizes vary from 10' x 10' to 150' x 400'.

The type of tent you use, depends on your budget, the size of your party, and maybe even the type of weather your expecting.

Canopy Tents may be too lightweight for a large party on a super windy or stormy day (heavens forbid your party is held on a day like that) Canopy tents should only be used to provide basic shade and cover.

Since the sides are open, you won’t have much protection from much else. You’ll definitely want to limit these types of tents to say kid birthday parties or family gatherings.

Rent Frame Tents

Selecting the right tent for you

These are small, and lightweight tents. The vinyl canvas is stretched over a frame, made of aluminum. The good thing about these tents is that they don’t have a big pole in the center to get in the way of your set up. It’s more like a dome type structure.

Party Tents tend to be much more sturdy. Most of them use poles supported by perimeter poles and as well as support poles in the center. Something like the ones you see in the movies. I’m trying to remember if a scene in “My Best Friends Wedding” had one. But any way, this type of tent has stakes around the outer perimeter of the tent.

Rent Party Tent Based on Party Size

Selecting the right size tent

At the time of inquiry, be sure to share with potential supplier the number of guests, number of tables, type of activities planned, etc. For example, if you’re planning to have dancing, you may want to see if you can get a dance floor with your tent.

Remember: When selecting a place to put up your tent, be sure there are no power lines, drainage issues, electrical wires, sprinkler systems, gas lines, etc. in the area that could cause a serious problem.

Ask questions!

Be sure to ask about hidden cost or fees for lighting, walls, tear-down in bad weather, etc. Ask them if they are insured, should some mishap occur due to the tent infrastructure, construction set-up or tear down.
